This cable offers transmission of GPIB signals over long distances with the help of an intermediate extender. The GPIB T8 Cable comes equipped with 2-Pin, Male connectors for the Back-End and Front-End connections. These connectors carry the optical signals between the two GPIB extenders. The NI GPIB T8 Cable comes with a core size of 62.5 um and has a cladding size of 125 um.

The NI GPIB T8 Cable is intended to be used within the 1,300 nm wavelength band for efficient signal transmission.
